Tigh an Solas Bed and Breakfast

The Isle of Mull has something for everyone. Whether
you are happy with taking life a little slower by strolling through
the hills and mountains, or maybe you'd rather get a little closer
to nature and go whale watching, we have it all. Below is a just a
taster of what you can expect to see on your visit....
Wildlife on Mull
Mull is really noted for its Birds of
Prey and is one of the best places in
the UK to see Golden Eagles and White-tailed Eagles.
The island is home to Red Deer and there
are also two herds of Fallow Deer, one near Killiechronan
and the other at Lochbuie. Otters can be more difficult to
spot but we recommend you take a wildlife tour with one of
the local experts and this should enable you to spot these
creatures for the remainder of your holiday. |

Walks on
Mull There are many walks on
Mull from Ben More, the island's only Munro standing at 3169
ft, to delightful short walks taking in fabulous beaches and
haunting ruins of old settlements. There is a fabulous easy
walk from Tigh an Solas down Glen Forsa to a memorial cairn.
This commemorates a Dakota crash on Ben Tailaidh in 1945
where 3 crew members died and five survived. If you would
prefer a Guided Walk please contact Mull Magic Tel: 01688
